MDRA "Summer of Money"

The Midwest Dirt Racing Association's
"Summer of Money" is paying off for some lucky race fans in
2008 and tickets are still available. While fuel prices are
still on the rise the MDRA Street Stock division is doing what
it can to continue getting drivers to the track by offering
this great fund raising raffle. "Our goal was to sell 500
tickets....and we're almost there." says Terry BlackLance
MDRA Director of Operations. "Our drivers feel strongly about
doing our part in sustaining motorsports in our area and it's
NOT going to happen by just watching anymore" he adds.
"Summer of Money" tickets are being offered at the cost of $10
and those that enter are set for the entire summer. You can
win ONCE or twice EVERY WEEK, as your tickets is always in the
drawing even if you win. A drawing is held every Friday and
Saturday through Sept. 12th for $50 to some lucky ticket
holder with raffle proceeds going to the MDRA Street Stock
division weekly payouts. BlackLance noted that " Our hope was
to get these funds back to the drivers when they need it most
in '08, with gas prices at all time highs.....every team is
going to need it during the season."
Whether you like to WIN or just want to help our local drivers
make the weekly program, you can purchase an MDRA "Summer of
Money" ticket from any of our Street Stock drivers at either
River Cities Speedway or Devils Lake Speedway through the
entire summer, and join the following lucky winners already in
the MDRA's "Summer of Money" fund raising effort.
